Tree Cozy

A walnut tree on Cayuga St. sports a jaunty sweater, custom-made by artist Thea Love of Hawaii. Maria Gaura ©santacruzwire.com

The tree sweater, a gift from Love to Eastside resident Sue Eastman, was knit in sections then custom-fitted to the tree in April. "I hope it lasts," Eastman said. "People seem to get a lot of enjoyment out of it."
