The tree sweater, a gift from Love to Eastside resident Sue Eastman, was knit in sections then custom-fitted to the tree in April. "I hope it lasts," Eastman said. "People seem to get a lot of enjoyment out of it."

WOW! now i know that NOTHING like that exists in my former stomping grounds of Columbus Ohio but now that I reside in Massachusetts i will have to explore to see if there is anything even remotely as as cool. bette

I'm hearing rumors of tree sweaters and "yarn graffiti" in other communities - could this be the beginning of a trend? They look so demure, those knitters, while they plot their subversive art ...
